Travel ED RN in Attleboro, MA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care for complex patients in a community hospital emergency department on a 12-week contract in Attleboro, Massachusetts. The unit serves neonates through geriatrics, uses Cerner charting, and averages 130 to 150 patients a day across 21 rooms and 31 beds. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Triage and assess emergency patients across the lifespan
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to acute changes in condition
• Start and maintain IV access and administer ordered treatments
• Support blood product administration and dysrhythmia care
• Assist with emergency procedures and sedation monitoring
• Coordinate care with respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and other support services
• Document care and communicate updates to the team

• Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Blood product administration
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• IV insertion and maintenance

• Cerner charting system experience
• General emergency department experience with adult and pediatric patients
• Pediatric emergency department experience
• Central line care, BiPAP/CPAP management, or procedural sedation monitoring
