Travel ED RN in Maryville, TN

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital in Maryville, Tennessee on a 13-week contract. The unit serves neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. It is a 44-bed department with an average daily census of 130 patients.

• Assess and stabilize emergency patients
• Triage incoming patients and prioritize care
• Administer medications and monitor responses
• Assist with airway management and intubation
• Coordinate care with respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Document care and support safe patient flow

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, CPI, MAB, NIHSS, and PALS
• 2 years of emergency department experience and 4:1 assignment experience
• 1 year of Epic experience
• Experience assisting with intubation
• Combined adult and pediatric emergency department experience

• TNCC
• Community hospital emergency department experience
• Behavioral health, stroke, and trauma care experience
