Travel ED RN in Chattanooga, TN

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a 19-bed acute care hospital unit in Chattanooga, Tennessee on a 13-week contract. The unit uses a 4:1 ratio and Meditech charting, and cares for patients needing tele-neuro support, stroke evaluation, and behavioral health care.

• Triage emergency department patients
• Deliver nursing care for acute and emergent conditions
• Assist with tele-neuro and stroke workflows
• Support moderate sedation procedures
• Assist with basic joint reduction care
• Care for patients with behavioral health needs
• Document assessments and interventions in Meditech

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale
• Emergency department experience with triage
• Ability to manage behavioral health patients
