Travel ED RN in Cookeville, TN

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency nursing care in an acute care hospital in Cookeville, Tennessee on a 13-week contract. The unit serves all ages and maintains a 1:4 ratio. The role may involve precepting and works with multiple support services.

• Assess and stabilize patients with urgent and emergent needs
• Triage and prioritize care across neonatal to geriatric populations
• Administer treatments and medications ordered for emergency care
• Monitor patient responses and update the care plan
• Coordinate care with respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy and social services
• Support precepting and team communication as needed

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• Prior travel experience
• BLS, ACLS and PALS
• 4:1 patient ratio experience

• ENPC
• TNCC
• Epic charting experience
