Travel ED RN in Maryville, TN

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Maryville, Tennessee. The 44-bed unit serves neonates through geriatrics and uses Epic charting. About 130 patients are seen daily, and first-time travelers are welcome based on skill and experience.

• Assess and prioritize emergency patients across all age groups
• Administer medications, fluids and urgent treatments
• Monitor cardiac, respiratory and neurological status and respond to changes
• Assist with intubation, procedures and rapid interventions
• Initiate IV access, collect specimens and support diagnostics
• Coordinate care with respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy and rapid response teams

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, CPI, MAB, NIHSS and PALS
• 2 years emergency department experience
• 1 year Epic experience
• Emergency department intubation support

• TNCC
• Triage in a high-volume emergency department
• Trauma, stroke and cardiac emergency care
• Behavioral health and pediatric emergency care
