Travel ED RN in Live Oak, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in an acute care hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Live Oak, Texas. The unit uses Meditech and sees patients with sepsis, stroke, chest pain, and behavioral health needs.

• Assess and stabilize emergency patients
• Provide nursing care for chest pain, stroke, sepsis, and behavioral health cases
• Assist with conscious sedation and intubation support
• Monitor patient status and report changes in condition
• Document care in Meditech
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, NIHSS, and PALS or ENPC certification
• 2+ years of emergency department experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• CEN certification
• Meditech experience
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
