Travel ED RN in Kingwood, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 6-week contract in Kingwood, Texas. The 28-bed unit uses Meditech charting and works with 4:1 patient ratios.

• Assess and triage emergency patients
• Start IV access and draw blood specimens
• Assist with resuscitation and urgent interventions
• Obtain EKGs and monitor cardiac rhythms
• Administer medications and monitor patient response
• Document care in Meditech and coordinate with the emergency team

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Trauma Nursing Core Course certifications
• Acute Emergency Department experience

• Trauma emergency care experience
