Travel ED RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide urgent care in an acute care hospital in Des Moines, Iowa on a 26-week contract. The unit serves emergency patients in a hospital setting, with trauma and stroke-related care needs.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Monitor vital signs and patient status
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Assist with trauma and stroke evaluations
• Coordinate care with the emergency care team
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses

• Current Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• TNCC certification
• NIHSS certification
