Travel ED RN in Newton, IA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital emergency room on a 13-week contract in Newton, Iowa. The unit supports rapid assessment, stabilization, and coordination for patients across the emergency department.

• Assess patients and prioritize care
• Initiate emergency interventions and support stabilization
• Administer medications and monitor responses
• Collaborate with providers during trauma, cardiac, stroke, and pediatric events
• Document care and update plans in the medical record
• Prepare patients for admission, transfer, or discharge

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
