Travel ED RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care to emergency patients in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa.

• Triage emergency patients on arrival
• Assess and prioritize emergency patients
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes
• Administer medications and support treatment plans
• Collaborate with providers during urgent care
• Document care and patient responses

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC and NIHSS certifications
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong emergency department assessment, triage and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work calmly in fast-paced emergency settings
