Travel ED RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The role is based in the emergency department unit and supports urgent patient care needs.

• Provide triage and direct patient care for emergency patients
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and response to treatment
• Assist with emergency procedures and bedside interventions
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient updates
• Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• TNCC certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Emergency department nursing skills
