Travel ED RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in an acute care hospital emergency department on a 26-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The role supports urgent and emergent patients with fast-paced assessment, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring.

• Triage and assess patients on arrival
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and emergency nursing interventions
• Assist with trauma and pediatric emergency care
• Collaborate with the care team on treatment plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong emergency department assessment and prioritization skills
• Team-based communication and rapid response skills
