Travel ED RN in West Des Moines, IA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital emergency room on a 13-week contract in West Des Moines, Iowa.

• Triage patients with urgent and emergent conditions in the emergency room
• Complete focused assessments and ongoing reassessments of unstable patients
• Initiate IV access and carry out ordered treatments and medications
• Monitor vital signs, pain, and response to emergency interventions
• Assist with trauma care, resuscitation, and procedural support
• Document assessments, interventions, and handoff communication clearly

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• TNCC certification
• NIHSS certification
