Travel ED RN in Craig, CO

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide triage, treatment, and care coordination in a critical access hospital for a 13-week contract in Craig, Colorado. The role supports fast-paced emergency care, patient education, documentation, and coordination of transfers, discharge, and referrals.

• Triage patients and prioritize care
• Plan, implement, and evaluate care plans
• Provide emergency treatment and monitor responses
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Coordinate transfers, discharge, and referrals
• Educate patients and families on care needs
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and delegate appropriate tasks

• Active Colorado Registered Nurse license or compact license
• Basic Life Support certification within 90 days of hire
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification within 6 months of hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course certification within 1 year of hire
• Trauma Nursing Core Course, STABLE, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certifications within 1 year of hire

• Two years of hospital nursing experience
• One year of Emergency Department or Critical Care nursing experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
