Travel ED RN in Corpus Christi, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a freestanding emergency department in Corpus Christi, Texas on a 6-week contract. The unit has 6 rooms, 4 vertical beds, a 3:4 patient ratio, and Meditech charting.

• Triage and assess emergency patients
• Start IVs and collect blood samples
• Obtain EKGs and monitor cardiac status
• Support respiratory care and emergency equipment use
• Provide wound care, ortho splinting, and Foley catheter care
• Document care and communicate with the team

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, CPI, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS certifications
• Emergency department assessment and communication skills
