Travel ED RN in Concord, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital unit during a 13-week contract in Concord, California. The unit is a non-teaching Level II trauma emergency services area with Epic and a 30-plus-bed emergency department seeing about 45,000 patients a year.

• Triage and prioritize emergency patients by acuity
• Assess and stabilize trauma and acute cases
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and ordered treatments
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes
• Coordinate care with providers and the care team
• Document assessments and interventions in Epic
• Support pediatric emergency care when needed

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Successful completion of lethal rhythm exam
• Trauma experience in an Emergency Department

• Pediatric emergency care experience
• Epic charting experience
