Travel ED RN in Chico, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Chico, California. The unit has 5 pods, 49 beds, a 4:1 maximum ratio, Epic charting, and Level II trauma, STEMI, and stroke designations.

• Assess and prioritize patients in the emergency department
• Provide care for adult and pediatric patients with urgent and emergent needs
• Support trauma, STEMI, and stroke response
• Administer treatments and medications as ordered
• Monitor patients and respond to changes in condition
• Document care in Epic
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate discharge or transfer

• Current California Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• 2+ years of emergency room experience in a Level II trauma center or higher, including pediatrics, trauma, STEMI, and stroke
• Epic charting experience
