Travel ED RN in Pomona, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Pomona, California. The unit has 72 beds, sees 270 to 300 patients daily, uses Cerner, and serves all ages in a Magnet, teaching, Level II trauma setting; first-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform triage and prioritize emergency care
• Assess and stabilize patients across all age groups
• Administer medications and support IV therapy
• Monitor patients in monitored beds and escalate changes
• Assist with trauma care and urgent interventions
• Document care in Cerner and coordinate with the care team

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, MAB, CPI, NIHSS, TNCC
• 2 years emergency department experience
• Trauma Level II or III experience
• Triage and charting system experience
• 4:1 patient ratio, community hospital, and prior travel experience

• Previous charge experience
