Travel ED RN in Pomona, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Pomona, California. The unit has 72 beds, sees 270-300 patients daily, uses Cerner, and is a Magnet, teaching, level II trauma hospital. First-time travelers are welcome, and free parking is available.

• Perform emergency nursing care across neonates through geriatrics
• Triage patients and prioritize care in the department
• Monitor and stabilize acute and trauma cases
• Manage dysrhythmias, central lines, and IV vasopressor therapy
• Support BiPAP, CPAP, ventilated patient care, and isolation precautions
• Coordinate with phlebotomy, social services, and the unit secretary

• California Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, CCRN, MAB, and CPI
• Triage, Trauma Level II or III, and 1:4 patient ratio experience
• Community hospital and prior travel experience
• Dysrhythmia management, central line care, IV vasopressors, BiPAP, CPAP, ventilated patient care, isolation precautions, and any charting system experience
