Travel ED RN in Charleston, SC

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will care for patients in a stand-alone emergency room on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit sees infants through geriatrics, averages about 50 visits each day, and uses Epic charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Triage patients across all age groups
• Assess and stabilize acute emergency conditions
• Start and maintain IV access and draw blood
• Administer emergency medications and support IV protocols
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes
• Assist with sedation, airway support, and ventilatory care
• Coordinate care with radiology and interpretation services

• South Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• 1 year general emergency department experience with adult and pediatric patients
• Epic experience
• Emergency department triage, IV access, phlebotomy, and dysrhythmia management skills

• TNCC
• NRP
