Travel ED RN in Summerville, SC

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a freestanding emergency department in Summerville, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. The 14-bed unit uses Epic charting, serves all ages, and handles stroke, trauma, chest pain, respiratory distress, and pediatric illness cases. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Triage and assess patients on arrival
• Stabilize emergency, trauma, stroke, and respiratory cases
• Administer medications and start IV therapy
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, oxygenation, and neurologic status
• Support procedures, sedation monitoring, and emergency interventions
• Document care in Epic and coordinate with the care team

• South Carolina or multistate compact Registered Nurse license
• AHA BLS and ACLS certification
• NIHSS and TNCC certification
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• Adult and pediatric emergency care experience
• Epic charting experience

• CPI certification
• NRP certification
• Trauma level I or level II experience
