About this job

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency and urgent care support in a free-standing unit on a 13-week contract in Florence, South Carolina. The unit has 12 beds and uses Epic charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess emergency and urgent care patients
  • Triage arrivals and prioritize care needs
  • Start IV access and obtain specimens
  • Monitor response to treatments and medications
  • Support stabilization and patient transfers
  • Document care in Epic and coordinate with providers

Qualifications

  • South Carolina or multistate/compact Registered Nurse license
  • 2 years of emergency room experience
  • AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS and NIHSS
  • Epic charting system experience
