Travel ED RN in Orangeburg, SC

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The unit sees neonates through geriatrics, uses Epic, and has 37 beds with acuity-based ratios. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess and stabilize emergency patients across all age groups
• Triage arrivals and prioritize urgent care needs
• Initiate IV access and collect specimens
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias
• Administer emergency medications and blood products
• Support ventilated patients and sedation care
• Coordinate with radiology and rapid response services

• South Carolina or compact/multistate Registered Nurse license
• American Heart Association BLS ACLS PALS and NIHSS
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• Epic charting experience
• Emergency skills in IV starts phlebotomy dysrhythmia care blood products ventilated patients continuous IV sedation BiPAP/CPAP and isolation precautions

• CPI and TNCC
• Trauma and neuro-trauma experience
• Pediatric emergency department and triage experience
• Arterial line care and procedural sedation experience
