Travel ED RN in Bakersfield, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide coordinated nursing care in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Bakersfield, California. The role supports assigned patients and works with other disciplines using critical thinking and independent judgment.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Deliver nursing interventions according to standards of care
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes
• Coordinate treatment plans with physicians and other disciplines
• Supervise assigned nursing staff and delegate tasks
• Document care and communicate patient updates

• Current California Registered Nurse license
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Emergency department nursing skills
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
