Travel ED RN in Apple Valley, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Apple Valley, California. The unit sees neonatal through geriatric patients, uses Epic, and supports stroke and STEMI receiving care.

• Assess emergency patients across all age groups
• Triage and prioritize care for varied diagnoses
• Initiate IV access and prepare blood product support
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias
• Provide care for ventilated patients and noninvasive respiratory support
• Support stroke, STEMI, and trauma evaluations
• Document care in Epic

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• 1 year of emergency department experience
• Epic charting system experience
• IV access, blood product administration, and dysrhythmia management
• Ventilated patient and BiPAP/CPAP care

• TNCC, CPI, or MAB
• Community hospital experience
• Trauma, neuro-trauma, and stroke experience
• Arterial line, central line, and procedural sedation skills
