Travel ED RN in Apple Valley, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Apple Valley, California. The unit serves patients across the lifespan, uses Epic, and receives stroke and STEMI cases. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Triage and assess emergency patients across the lifespan
• Start and maintain IV access and administer ordered treatments
• Monitor dysrhythmias and respond to changing patient conditions
• Manage BiPAP, CPAP, ventilated patients, and blood products
• Support stroke and STEMI receiving care in the unit
• Collaborate with rapid response and ancillary support teams

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• 1 year of emergency department experience
• Epic charting system experience

• TNCC
• CPI or MAB
• Arterial line and central line care
• Community hospital experience
