Per Diem ED RN in Apple Valley, CA

A Per Diem Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in a non trauma emergency department for adult and pediatric patients in Apple Valley, California. The unit uses Epic, works with 1:4 ratios, and receives stroke and STEMI cases.

• Assess emergency patients across the full age range
• Monitor dysrhythmias and respond to acute changes
• Start IVs, draw lines, and maintain IV sites
• Administer blood products and follow isolation precautions
• Support CPAP/BiPAP therapy and ventilated patients
• Assist with stroke and STEMI receiving care

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications
• 1 year recent emergency department experience
• Epic experience
• IV starts, line draws, and IV site maintenance skills

• TNCC
• CPN
