Travel ED RN in Apple Valley, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Apple Valley, California. The unit serves neonates through geriatrics, uses Epic charting, and receives stroke and STEMI cases. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Triage patients with varied emergency conditions and perform rapid assessments
• Administer medications, blood products, and emergency interventions
• Monitor dysrhythmias, ventilatory status, and response to treatment
• Start and maintain IV access and assist with procedural care
• Support care for adult and pediatric emergency patients
• Follow isolation precautions and coordinate with support services

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• 1 year of emergency department experience
• Epic charting experience
• Ventilated patient, dysrhythmia, and IV access skills

• TNCC
• Community hospital experience
• Triage and trauma experience
