Travel CVOR Tech in Mason City, IA

A Travel CVOR Tech Certified Surgical Technologist will assist in the operating room on a 13-week contract in Mason City, Iowa. The role supports open heart cases in an acute care hospital operating room.

• Prepare the sterile field and surgical supplies for CVOR cases
• Assist the surgical team during open heart procedures
• Pass instruments and supplies to maintain case flow
• Maintain sterile technique and support room readiness
• Handle counts, specimens, and case documentation as assigned
• Support patient positioning and safe transfer in the operating room

• Certified Surgical Technologist certification
• BLS certification
• NBSTSA certification
• Open heart surgical experience
• Aseptic technique and instrument handling
