Travel CVOR Tech in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician will assist in complex cardiovascular surgery cases in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. The unit serves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics and includes cardiac, thoracic, transplant, and endovascular procedures in a Level I trauma setting.

• Prepare the operating room for cardiovascular and thoracic cases
• Receive pump lines from perfusion and prep them for cannulation
• Assist surgeons during cardiac, transplant, and endovascular procedures
• Maintain a sterile field and pass instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Support case setup, specimen handling, and room turnover
• Anticipate intraoperative needs for complex open and minimally invasive cases

• BLS certification
• NBSTSA certification
• 2 years of CVOR experience
• 1 year of Level I trauma experience
• Prior travel experience

• Ambulatory OR, general OR, or hybrid OR experience
• Endovascular, TEVAR, TAVR, and carotid endarterectomy case experience
• Organ donation or teaching hospital experience
• Charting system experience
