Travel CVOR Tech in Farmington, CT

A Travel CVOR Surgical Technologist will scrub open heart and other surgical cases in an operating room at an acute care hospital in Farmington, Connecticut on a 17-week contract. The role supports ortho, neuro, and general surgery cases in a busy operating room setting.

• Prepare the operating room and sterile field
• Scrub for open heart, ortho, neuro, and general surgery cases
• Pass instruments and supplies during procedures
• Maintain aseptic technique throughout each case
• Support room setup and turnover between cases
• Anticipate the surgical team's needs during procedures

• Associate degree from a surgical technology program
• 2 years of formal in-hospital Surgical Technologist experience
• NBSTSA certification
• AHA BLS certification

• CVOR experience
• Previous travel assignment experience
