Travel CVOR Tech in Corpus Christi, TX

A Travel Cardiovascular Operating Room Certified Surgical Technologist will assist with cardiovascular surgery in the operating room for a 13-week contract in Corpus Christi, Texas. The unit handles CABG, valve, TAVR, and aortic aneurysm cases with 1:1 patient care in a high-acuity setting.

• Prepare the sterile field and surgical instruments for cardiovascular cases
• Assist surgeons and the team during open-heart and vascular procedures
• Pass instruments and supplies during CABG, valve, TAVR, and aneurysm cases
• Support use of cardiovascular surgical instrumentation, heart-lung bypass, cell saver, and microscopes
• Maintain aseptic technique and operating room readiness
• Work independently while meeting cardiovascular surgical competencies

• Certified Surgical Technologist certification
• CVOR or open-heart surgery scrub experience
• Cardiac and vascular surgical procedure experience
• Ability to work independently in a high-acuity CVOR setting
• Competency in cardiovascular surgical procedures
