Travel CVOR Tech in Lewisville, TX

A Travel CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist will assist in cardiovascular operating room procedures in an acute care hospital in Lewisville, Texas, on a 13-week contract. The unit has 6 operating rooms and uses Meditech.

• Prepare the operating room and sterile supplies for cardiovascular cases
• Assist the surgical team during cardiovascular procedures
• Maintain the sterile field and pass instruments and supplies as needed
• Count instruments, sponges and supplies with the team
• Support specimen handling, room turnover and case documentation
• Monitor supplies and equipment needs for each case

• 2+ years of hospital experience in the specialty
• BLS certification
• Certified Surgical Technologist certification through NNSTSA or NCCT

• Meditech experience
