Travel CVOR Tech in Boston, MA

A Travel CVOR Surgical Technologist will assist with cardiac, vascular, thoracic, robotic thoracic, and general surgery in an acute care hospital in Boston, Massachusetts for a 13-week contract. The unit prioritizes cardiac and endovascular cases, including transplant and valve replacement procedures.

• Prepare the operating room and sterile field for CVOR cases
• Scrub and assist with cardiac, vascular, thoracic, robotic thoracic, and general surgery procedures
• Support valve replacement, transplant, and endovascular cases
• Pass instruments and supplies while maintaining aseptic technique
• Anticipate surgeon needs and assist with case flow
• Handle surgical counts and specimen care per protocol

• NBSTSA certification
• Basic Life Support certification
• 2+ years of related surgical technologist experience
• Basic computer skills and web-based application navigation

• Experience in a teaching hospital
• Cardiac, vascular, or thoracic surgical specialty expertise
