Travel CVOR Tech in Anchorage, AK

A Travel CVOR Tech Surgical Technologist will support cardiovascular operating room cases in an acute hospital on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The unit uses Epic and is part of a Magnet, Level II trauma hospital. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Prepare the operating room for cardiovascular procedures
• Pass instruments and supplies during surgical cases
• Maintain sterile technique and the sterile field
• Assist with case setup, equipment checks, and room turnover
• Handle specimens, counts, and surgical documentation
• Support instrument processing and safe handling of supplies

• BLS
• 1 year of CVOR Tech experience
• Level II trauma experience
• Aseptic technique and sterile field support
• Instrument processing, specimen handling, and safety practices

• NCCT or NBSTSA certification
• Teaching hospital experience
• Pediatric CVOR, ECMO insertion and decannulation, and general OR experience
