Travel CVOR Tech in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Cardiovascular Operating Room Technologist will support complex cardiac and thoracic procedures in the operating room on a 13-week contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. The case mix includes Level I trauma, heart and lung transplant, vascular and endovascular surgery.

• Prepare the room and sterile field for cardiac, thoracic and vascular procedures
• Receive lines from perfusion and prepare them for cannulation
• Assist the surgical team with coronary bypass, valve, transplant and aortic cases
• Handle instruments, supplies and counts during complex CVOR procedures
• Support endovascular and minimally invasive cardiac cases
• Help with patient positioning, turnover and case readiness

• BLS certification
• NBSTSA certification
• 2 years of CVOR experience
• 1 year of Level I trauma experience
• Prior travel experience
• Experience receiving perfusion lines and preparing for cannulation

• Ambulatory OR, general OR and hybrid OR experience
• Carotid endarterectomy, TAVR, TEVAR, femoral popliteal bypass and organ donation cases
• Teaching hospital or community hospital experience
• Charting system experience
