Travel CVOR Tech in Asheville, NC

A Travel Cardiovascular Operating Room Certified Surgical Technologist will support complex cardiac and thoracic cases in a hospital operating room on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit has 6 operating rooms, uses Cerner, and manages advanced CABG, valve replacement, VAD, and TAVR cases in a Magnet-designated hospital with Level II trauma and comprehensive stroke services.

• Scrub and assist in cardiovascular and thoracic procedures
• Prepare instruments, supplies, and the sterile field for each case
• Support CABG, valve replacement, VAD, TAVR, VATS, and other complex procedures
• Assist with heart holder, first assist, and pump case needs when assigned
• Collaborate with surgeons, circulators, and the OR team to maintain efficient case flow
• Document case details in Cerner

• Certified Surgical Technologist certification
• Basic Life Support certification
• Extensive CVOR scrub experience
• 2 prior travel assignments
