Travel CVOR Tech in Asheville, NC

A Travel CVOR Tech Certified Surgical Technologist will scrub cardiac and thoracic cases in a hospital in Asheville, North Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit has 6 ORs, uses Cerner, and supports complex cardiac surgery in a Magnet-designated Level II trauma hospital.

• Scrub CABG, valve replacement, VAD, and TAVR cases
• Assist with thoracic and cardiac procedures, including VATS and lobectomy
• Prepare instruments, supplies, and the sterile field for each case
• Support pump cases and other complex procedures in the scrub role
• Work with the circulator and core team to keep cases efficient
• Follow unit policies and maintain smooth surgical workflow

• CST certification
• BLS certification
• Extensive CVOR scrub experience
• Two prior travel assignments
• Strong cardiovascular operating room skills
