Travel CVOR Tech in Asheville, NC

A Travel CVOR Tech Certified Surgical Technologist will assist with cardiovascular operating room and preoperative care in a hospital in Asheville, North Carolina on a 26-week contract. The unit has 4 beds, 1:1 staffing, and uses Cerner. It supports high-acuity cardiovascular cases and Magnet-designated care.

• Prepare patients for cardiovascular procedures with skin assessment, hair removal, and skin prep
• Assist with large-bore IV starts, arterial line placement, central line placement, and epidural placement
• Support induction, intubation, positioning, and transport to the operating room
• Administer medications and help with BCMA in the preoperative area
• Document care accurately and communicate with the surgical team
• Work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity patient area

• Certified Surgical Technologist credential
• BLS certification
• Critical care experience
• Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and documentation skills
