Travel CVOR Tech in Asheville, NC

A Travel Cardiovascular Operating Room Certified Surgical Technologist will assist with complex heart surgery cases in a hospital in Asheville, North Carolina on a 9 week contract. The unit has 6 operating rooms, uses Cerner, and supports a Magnet-designated Level II trauma center.

• Scrub for cardiothoracic and vascular procedures
• Maintain a sterile field and prepare the operating room
• Pass instruments and supplies during complex cardiac cases
• Support pump cases and first assist needs as directed
• Prepare equipment, implants, and surgical trays
• Anticipate surgeon needs and coordinate with the surgical team

• Certified Surgical Technologist credential
• BLS certification
• Extensive CVOR scrub experience
• 2 previous travel assignments

• First assist experience in cardiothoracic cases
