Travel CVICU RN in South Carolina

A Travel Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for pediatric cardiac patients in a hospital in Charleston, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. The 29-bed unit serves neonates through adolescents with congenital and other cardiac conditions, uses Epic, and maintains monitored beds. First-time travelers are welcome, and the hospital is a Level I Trauma Center, Magnet, and teaching facility.

• Assess pediatric cardiac patients and respond to changes in condition
• Monitor hemodynamics and manage vasoactive and antiarrhythmic therapy
• Care for ventilated patients, tracheostomies, and central lines
• Support postoperative cardiac surgery and congenital heart disease recovery
• Assist with ECMO, CRRT, and ventricular assist device care
• Coordinate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and other support teams

• South Carolina or compact Registered Nurse license
• BLS and PALS certification
• 2 years of pediatric cardiac ICU experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Care of ventilated patients, central lines, and hemodynamic monitoring

• ACLS certification
• CRRT experience
• Berlin Heart experience
• Teaching hospital experience
