Travel CVICU RN in South Carolina

A Travel Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for complex cardiac and neuro critical care patients in a hospital ICU on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit has 28 beds, uses Meditech, and commonly staffs 1:2 to 1:3 ratios for mixed ICU and PCU hold patients.

• Provide care for complex cardiac and neuro critical care patients
• Monitor ventilated patients and support respiratory treatments
• Assist with CABG recovery, impella, balloon pump, and Swan Ganz care
• Track telemetry and manage advanced hemodynamics
• Support neuro care for aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage and induced hypothermia
• Complete bedside handoff for each transfer of care

• Active South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification
• RN experience, including 1 year in ICU
• CVICU experience and ventilator management skills

• BSN
• TNCC certification
• Meditech experience
• Prior successful travel nursing experience
