Travel CVICU RN in South Carolina

A Travel Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care for cardiac and neuro patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit has 28 beds, uses Meditech, and manages 1:2 to 1:3 ratios in a Level II trauma center with stroke designation.

• Provide bedside care for cardiac and neuro critical care patients
• Monitor telemetry and report rhythm changes
• Assist with ventilators, CRRT, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Support post-op CABG, Impella, balloon pump, and Swan-Ganz care
• Care for aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage patients with EVDs and induced hypothermia
• Document care and complete bedside handoff

• South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
• 1 year of ICU experience
• 3 to 6 months of Registered Nurse experience
• Prior CVICU experience
• Ventilator management and telemetry reading skills

• BSN
• TNCC certification
• Advanced critical care certifications
• Prior Meditech experience and one previous successful travel nursing assignment
