Travel CVICU RN in Denver, CO

A Travel Cardiovascular Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse will care for critically ill congenital cardiac patients in a pediatric cardiac ICU in Denver, Colorado on a 13-week contract. The 10-bed unit serves a congenital cardiac population, uses Meditech charting and works with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio.

• Monitor hemodynamic status and cardiac rhythms
• Manage inotropic and vasopressor infusions
• Provide post-operative cardiac care and chest tube management
• Assist with moderate sedation and bedside procedures
• Collaborate with intensivists and the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments and interventions in Meditech

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• Cardiac critical care experience greater than 2 years
• Current ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications

• Peritoneal dialysis, CRRT and ECMO bedside experience
