Travel CVICU RN in San Luis Obispo, CA

A Travel CVICU Registered Nurse will provide nursing care in a critical care unit on a 13-week contract in San Luis Obispo, California. The role supports patients with multisystem failure, ventilation needs, neuro and trauma concerns, respiratory failure, and hemodynamic monitoring. It includes planning care, coordinating treatment, and supervising ancillary staff within scope of practice.

• Plan and coordinate care for critically ill patients
• Monitor ventilation, neurologic status, and hemodynamic trends
• Assess changes in condition and respond to emergencies
• Collaborate with the care team to carry out treatment plans
• Delegate tasks within scope and supervise support staff
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Critical care nursing knowledge and skills with ventilated and hemodynamically monitored patients
