Travel CVICU RN in South Carolina

A Travel RN - CVICU Registered Nurse will care for cardiovascular and neuro intensive care patients in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The 28-bed mixed ICU uses Meditech, has 1:2 and 1:3 ratios, and supports Level II trauma care. Travelers with interest in Cardiovascular ICU or Neuro ICU training are welcome.

• Assess cardiovascular and neuro ICU patients
• Monitor ventilators, telemetry strips, and hemodynamic data
• Perform bedside handoff and transfer reporting
• Assist with CRRT and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Support care for CABG, Impella, balloon pump, and Swan Ganz patients
• Provide neuro critical care support, including EVDs, bolts, and induced hypothermia
• Coordinate breathing treatments and phlebotomy as needed

• South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• 1 year of ICU RN experience
• Ventilator management and telemetry interpretation skills

• BSN
• TNCC certification
• Meditech charting experience
• Previous successful travel nursing assignment
