Travel CVICU RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for critically ill cardiac patients in a cardiovascular intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The unit uses Meditech charting and supports post-CABG, post-VAD, and post-cath care with advanced cardiac support devices.

• Monitor hemodynamics, arterial lines, and Swan-Ganz data
• Manage ventilated patients and support ventilator care
• Assess post-CABG, post-VAD, and post-cath patients
• Administer ordered treatments and respond to changes in condition
• Document care in the charting system and coordinate with the care team

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• 2 years ICU experience
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Strong critical thinking skills

• IABP exposure
• CRRT exposure
• Meditech charting and order entry
