Travel CVICU RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for complex cardiac patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The unit uses Meditech and supports post-CABG, post-VAD, and advanced cardiac support cases.

• Monitor hemodynamics and respond to changes in cardiac status
• Manage ventilator support and advanced cardiac devices
• Assist with post-CABG, post-VAD, and post-cath recovery
• Evaluate invasive monitoring data and adjust care priorities
• Collaborate with the care team on complex ICU interventions
• Document care accurately in the charting system

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• 2 years or more ICU experience
• Hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management skills

• IABP exposure
• CRRT exposure
• Meditech charting and order entry experience
