Travel CVICU RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for critically ill patients in a hospital critical care unit on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. Charting is in Meditech. The role supports invasive monitoring and ICU procedures for cardiac and surgical patients.

• Monitor hemodynamic status and patient response
• Administer critical care therapies and medications
• Manage chest tubes, central lines, and arterial lines
• Assist with intubations, NG tubes, Foley catheters, and dressing changes
• Document assessments and interventions in Meditech
• Collaborate with the care team on ICU care plans

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certification
• 2-3 years of ICU experience
• Strong critical thinking skills

• MICU or MSICU background
• IABP exposure
• CRRT exposure
• Meditech experience
