A Travel Telemetry Certified Nursing Assistant will support adults and geriatrics in a hospital telemetry unit on a 13-week contract in Portland, Oregon. The unit has 27 beds, an average daily census of 25, and uses Epic.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor vital signs, pulse oximetry, and blood glucose
- Assist with ambulation, transfers, and safe use of mobility aids
- Support bathing, hygiene, grooming, and oral care
- Help with feeding, intake, output, and calorie counts
- Reposition patients and help prevent pressure injury
- Report changes in condition and maintain safety checks
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant credential
- BLS certification
- 1 year of acute care CNA experience
